Brief: Bakery Branding Exercise
Sugar & Butter Bakery - This is a passion exercise that I wish was real! I had so much fun coming up with the branding for this fictitious company. I knew I wanted the branding to be warm and inviting and have a little bit of a dreamy element to it. The icons are fairly simple but I think are a cute addition and makes for a great photo, especially on a coffee cup!
Brief: Boutique Hotel Exercise
The Modern, a Palm Springs Boutique Hotel - Palm Springs is one of my favorite destinations, and pair that with a boutique hotel... I love it! I absolutely had to to create a modern boutique hotel brand that had a relaxed Palm Springs aesthetic. I've always loved the Mid Century Modern style and wanted to incorporate that into the branding for this, which is why I chose the main symbol for the logo to be that style of house. I wanted the brand throughout to feel like you were always on vacation when you looked at it and have the fun little icons that could serve as backgrounds or even wallpaper in the hotel rooms. I wanted the color palette to be warm to go with the vacation vibes and have an overall classy Palm Springs look.
Brief: Boba Company Branding
Boba Bear Tea Shop - I decided to go with a pastel pink and purple color scheme for this exercise. I wanted it to be a more simple design so the background could be played up or down with different variations of the pink and purple. I chose the bear to be black and white for the same reason so it would pop on really any background.
